NORTH SYDNEY ART PRIZE 2022

With great pleasure, I was able to participate in the Bronze sculpture Fungi Rhino2, 10x13x40cm 13 k.  Amongst a multifaceted artists working with different mediums and techniques during the exhibition hosted on 14-29 May 2022

There were 110 contemporary artworks displayed across the grounds and in the tunnels of the historic Coal Loader site.

North Sydney art prize, the 2022 curatorial theme encourages artists to consider the overarching principles of the Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability. In response to the curatorial theme, selected artworks to explore sustainability and the environment with many addressing the impacts of climate change and consumerism, as well as responding to the inspiring natural and industrial elements of the site and its surrounds

After two years of a pandemic and lockdowns, our arts, culture, and creative communities are ready to showcase their works to eager audiences as part of the North Sydney Art Prize 2022 at the stunning harbourside Coal Loader. Everyone is invited to enjoy one of Sydney’s most exquisite family-friendly exhibitions. 

Deep inside the magnificent underground tunnels, throughout the parklands, and inside the historic Cottage, a broad range of artworks compete not just for views, but to win what is now the biggest art event on this side of the Bridge.

Every two years the vast and historic Coal Loader plays host to the event which showcases some of the best in contemporary art, culminating in a $20,000 cash prize for the main winner
