The moon deity for the Muiscas/Chibchas indigenous civilization during the period of 1000 BCE to 500 CE Bogota, Colombia. Chía is the goddess of the moon, a triple deity as she was associated with the moon’s phases and was a central part of the Muisca’s religious beliefs.
