The arts deity for the Muiscas/Chibchas indigenous civilization during the period of 1000 BCE to 500 CE Bogota, Colombia. Nencatacoa was the god of festivities, drunkenness and dance and also the protector of artists and painters who realized their beautiful creations on the cloths, the ceramic, gold, metallurgy , sculptures and petroglyphs. Nencatacoa partied alongside the Muiscas who drank chicha a type of alcoholic drink based on the fermentation and cooking of maize.
